The all new Moto e came and gone !!

Sold out on day 1 in India within 16 hours.

Get ready for a latest smartphone launched by the American company Motorola. After the success of MOTO G ,the Google company has come up with a smartphone having all specifications,a user desires to be in the phone plus it is cost effective.

The smartphone was made available in Indian market on 14th may,2014 only on Flipkart and within hours it was sold out. Also the site crashed due to the prodigious response from the users, but recovered later.

While comparing the two phones one could easily see that the smartphones are not much of any difference in terms of specifications.

Similarities

BODY:

The dimensions and weight are quite similar although motog is a bit larger.

DISPLAY:

Both have Capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16M colors with screen size differ only by 0.2 inches.

SOUND ,DATA ,BATTERY don't make much difference.

Differences:

As obvious you can't get the same phone with no differences at such a low price. The two phones differ in terms of size, features,Memory and camera .

SIZE:

MOTO E have 540x960 pixels screen while motog have 720x1280 PX .So,take care of the camera while considering the phone.

FEATURES:

OS : moto e has android 4.4.2(kitkat) version while moto g has Android 4.3 (jelly bean),"up-gradable".So,It's good to see a higher version in the cheaper phone.

CHIPSET: moto e has  Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset while motog has  Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400.

CPU: In terms of speed moto g is much better as it has a quad core 1.2 GHz cortex A7 processor while moto e has a Dual-core 1.2 GHz cortex A7 processor.

Rest of the features are approximately same.

MEMORY:

Moto g doesn't provide the MicroSd card slot option so only internal memory(8/16 GB) is available which can annoying for some users while moto e has a expandable memory up to 32 GB with card slot available and has an internal storage of 4 GB .Both have 1 GB RAM.

CAMERA:

Both have a 5 MP camera but Auto focus and LED flash is only available in motog.
Then some of the camera features like touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama makes moto g more attractive then moto e which doesn't have these. And another main thing is the front camera, motog has one-1.3 MP but moto e users have to rely on the back camera only.

CONCLUSION:
In terms of camera and processor, moto g will give you better and more reliable experience but this is a good buy for people who need a phone to make calls, last throughout the day and occasional gaming like temple run, subway for their kids.Don't forget that you are getting a GB RAM Android smartphone at such a low cost .So,Pre-book orders for the phone as it is not available at the flip kart store right now.Else,"the came and gone thing " will repeat.
